Toronto Greenhouse’s mission is to foster the growth of the environmentally-friendly business community. Our signature event is a monthly networking session and speaker series which launched in 2009. This event brings together green companies and friends of the sector. With over 1000 event attendees per year, we are the leading environmental business forum in Toronto.
This month's event is all about Cleantech. "Clean" Technology investment is growing globally and has the potential to save both our environment and economy. Join us to hear about the latest advancements and trends in this key growth industry.
Speakers:

Albert Behr, President & CEO - Cavet Technologies
Albert Behr brings more than 25 years of technical, sales, marketing and management expertise in the technology sector to his role as president and chief executive officer of Cavet Technologies. Most recently, he was CEO of Behr & Associates, a boutique business acceleration firm focused on the comercialization and advancement of early stage clean technology companies. Albert has held positions in North America and Asia at BorderWare Technologies, Platform Computing, Delrina, Symantec, Fujitsu and NCR. Albert earned an MBA in High Technology Marketing and Finance from North Dakota State University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba in Economics and Psychology.

Nicolas Morgan, Vice President Business Development & Marketing - Morgan Solar
Nicolas Morgan is Morgan Solar's Vice President of Business Development and a member of the company's Board. Since co-founding the company with his brother John Paul in 2007, Nicolas has taken responsibility for Business Development and Marketing Activities and helped lead the company's financing rounds. He is now particularly focused on achieving bankability for the company's first product to market, the Sun Simba Concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV) solar module - the building block of Morgan Solar's turnkey, low cost solar generating system.
Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Anthropology and a post-graduate degree in Applied Information Technology. Before Morgan Solar, Nicolas spent two years in Madrid, Spain as the international business development lead for FON Technologies, a Web 2.0 start-up. Prior to this, Nicolas worked at Ernst & Young as a risk management and business process advisor to the Ontario Electricity Sector.

Jon Dogterom, Cleantech Practice Lead - MaRs Discovery District
Jonathan has been active in innovation and commercialization of renewable energy technologies as both an entrepreneur and in publicly-traded companies. Jonathan utilizes his experience in corporate strategic planning. product management and channel development to help early-stage clients in MaRS' cleantech practice.
